My husband is the hottest guy i have ever met in my life with a killer bod-- hes a personal trainer so you cant even imagine how it feels to struggle daily with my weight. He eats mac and cheese and pasta and huge bowls of cereal.. i- in-turn believe that i can do the same! Clearly not... he can pack on the lbs or lose them without even a second thought... and for this reason.. i hate him... or maybe i hate myself for not understanding-- or listening to what he does or says....
I shouldnt say i dont listen.. because i do.. but i normally just revert back to what i normally do and it gets my weight back up in the bad ranges and i feel like crap... about 4 weeks ago i came down with this KILLER stomach ache which was followed up other weird symptoms like diarrhea and itchy butt to put it nicely... this lasted for DAYS.... Joe said to me... "its the wheat.. you gotta stop with the wheat and carbs" I yesed him to death and then he came back the next day with a book title, that the girls at the gym had been raving about "WHEAT BELLY" he said... "you gotta read it... it will change your life.."
I let the title sit with me for a few days, i looked on amazon and read the reviews (which got almost 5 stars)... i read them... and didnt order it bc i hardly have time to make myself lunch-- i dont have time to read a book... after letting it settle i thought he might have a point so i ordered it on CD and have been listeing to it in the car.... i love it so much, i sit in the car and dont get out when i reach my destination... i leave early JUST so i can sit a few extra minutes.... its not the kind of book that is going to tell you what you can and cant eat... but more a book about the FACTS of wheat- new age wheat.. and what it does to your body as a whole... its more medical and scientific--- if i had gotten the book, i know i wouldnt have read it because i would have spent more time googling the words i didnt know then actually paying attention to what they were saying....
I stopped eating wheat... or anything that contains wheat.... and i have lost 2 lbs already since tuesday... today is thursday... i havent changed ANYTHING else in my life.. i still exercise the same as i did and i still have been eating some candy (just tootsie rolls) so could that really be from not eating wheat?? I dont know for sure.. but i certainly am going to figure it out!!!
